Degenerative Disc Diseases

Spinal discs, located between each vertebra, prevent spinal bones from grating against each other by functioning as a shock absorber. Degenerative disc disease is defined as the weakening of one or more spinal discs. When these spinal discs wear away, the bones will rub against each other causing ruptured disc, spine curvature, or narrowing of spaces around the spine.
