Facet Arthropathy

The spinal bones are connected together by facet joints where the nerves pass through these joints from spinal cord to other body parts. These facet joints help in bending and twisting of the spine. They are lined with synovial joint fluid that acts as lubricant. Pain and swelling of these spinal joints lead to facet arthropathy syndrome.
